Program terms
- • Fee split: 50/50 — referrer gets 2% of every payout, platform keeps 2%.
- • Window: 1 year per referral — for brands, starts when they first fund; for clippers, starts when they sign up. Rewards stop accruing after that.
- • Cap: reward plateaus once a referred brand has funded $10,000 total.
- • Attribution: last-click — ref cookie lasts 30 days from first click; locked to the referrer once an account is created.
- • Self-referrals: not eligible.
- • Payouts: USDC on Solana, direct to your wallet in the same tx as the clipper payout. No minimums.
- • Reellu may adjust or end the program at any time; fees already earned are never clawed back.

Can I refer my own brand/clipping account?
No. Self-referrals aren't eligible.
Why only half the fee?
A 50/50 split lets Reellu keep real revenue to fund view verification, payouts infra, and growth — while still giving referrers a meaningful cut of every payout for a full year.
What if my referral brand just deposits but never pays clippers?
No fee — no share. The 4% is only charged when a payout is approved to a clipper. If the brand archives without spending, their USDC refunds and nothing moves to you.
Can one brand have multiple referrers?
No. The first click wins — once an account is attributed to a referrer, that attribution is locked. Rewards still cap out at the 1-year window though.
Is this on-chain?
Attribution is stored in the campaign account. When approve_payout runs, the 50/50 fee split routes to referrer + treasury in the same tx.
I'm a clipper — does anything stop me from referring clippers?
Nothing. Clippers referring other clippers is great. You just can't collect both a referral fee and a clipper payout on the same brand's campaign.
